This room went through several evolutions as we moved it from the downstairs to the upstairs.
One of the first things I wanted to add was space to hang/air dry clothes, so I built a small shelf and added a chrome rod. The cute bamboo hangers added just the right amount of whimsy.
The wallpaper (Lulie Wallace Clara) was the inspiration for the cabinet color I painted (Benjamin Moore Simply White).
The countertops were purchased from Facebook marketplace, but they weren’t my favorite color. So I painted them to look like marble using a kit!
I built a cabinet with space for two full size laundry baskets, and topped with leftover butcher block from our kitchen shelf build.
Two washers and dryers, why? 6 kids, enough said.
The bamboo shade I sourced from Home Depot and added my own ribbon trim. All sources are linked on these two posts.
